Музей «Голоси Мирних» Фонду Ріната Ахметова зібрав понад 60 тисяч історій про життя під час війни

Every Ukrainian citizen has his or her own story about the war — there is no one who would not be affected by the tragedy that the country is going through. Every day, true-to-life, sincere and emotional stories about life during the war enter the archive of the Museum of Civilian Voices of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, which has been collecting them since 2014. Currently, the Museum’s archive now has more than 60,000 first-hand stories.

“I would like all these stories not to be erased from memory, so that our recollections remain forever. So that every human story from the Museum of Civilian Voices becomes a call to stop this terrible war and prevent similar tragedies in the future,” emphasizes Rinat Akhmetov, the Foundation’s Founder.

The Museum of Civilian Voices of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation is the world’s largest collection of stories from Ukrainian civilians who suffered from the war. The Museum collects accounts and evidences of those who survived for the whole world to remember and never forgive russia’s war crimes on our land. Behind every story are the voices and faces of people who survived the calamity and witnessed the tragedy of others. All the stories are filled with pain, but each of them bears hope and faith in the Victory of Ukraine.

The development of the Museum is continuing without interruptions: in addition to the stories of Civilians, its collection includes some exclusive interviews with famous historians, thinkers, artists, experts in the field of preservation of the national memory. The Museum of Civilian Voices of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation launched a series of podcasts with interviews of such experts, where they shared their views on the events in Ukraine, the present and the future.
