The autumn session of the project Rinat Akhmetov for Children. Peaceful Rest for Children of Ukraine, which will be taking place in a cosy children’s camp in Zakarpattia, gets underway.
The sessions of the Blogger Camp from the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation give children, who have suffered from the war in Ukraine, the opportunity to have a full rest, recover, make friends, learn the skills of a blogger, discover the diversity of the world of professions and receive professional psychological help.
The participants of the project are children aged 8-15, including those who were deported to the Russian Federation and returned to Ukraine; children who lost their parents during the war; boys and girls from adoptive families and family-type orphanages; children under guardianship and adopted children, as well as those living in areas of active combat action and those who suffered from the armed hostilities.
Each session prepares something unexpected, like interesting guests and professional master classes from the best representatives of the media industry. Children have the opportunity to expand their worldview, meet some professionals, learn about their path to success, and also try their own strength in various types of creative arts in practice.
A calm atmosphere, fresh air, face-to-face communication, lots of physical activity, entertainment, and fun during the sessions at the Blogger Camp – all this ensures balance, positive emotions and a significant improvement in the children’s psycho-emotional state. In addition, sessions with the psychologist from the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation help to overcome the war trauma, to put the mind at ease, to believe in oneself and one’s future again.
