Famous poet Tetiana Vlasova joined the jury of the essay contest 1000 Days of War. My Way organized by the Museum of Civilian Voices by Rinat Akhmetov Foundation. New works are being submitted daily from participants from all over Ukraine - you can submit yours until November 4 inclusive. The jury also includes Ivan Stepurin, publisher, Oleksiy Sukhanov, actor and host, and Dasha Trehubova, actress, host and producer. They will determine the most talented works.
“I notice that during a full-scale war, many people feel the need to write - poetry, essays, prose... Even those who have never done it before express their feelings and experiences in this form. This is a kind of therapy - when we can express what we feel in written words. And it is young people who find the most strength to express their emotions and experiences on paper or on gadget screens. That's why, to be honest, I'm even a little scared to evaluate these works, because each of them has its own separate story - touching or even painful. But the main thing that unites these works is incredible sincerity and freedom. This is very important,” says Tetiana.
Students of the 9-11th grades, first- and second-year students of colleges and vocational education institutions, teachers of secondary schools, colleges and vocational education institutions of all regions of Ukraine are invited to participate in the competition.
You can submit your essay until November 4, 2024 only through the official registration form on the website of the Museum of Civilian Voices by Rinat Akhmetov Foundation
