Dasha Trehubova, the well-known Ukrainian actress, presenter, producer, author of the #DashaReads video project, has joined the panel of judges of the essay contest "1000 Days of War. My Way" organised by the Museum of Civilian Voices by Rinat Akhmetov Foundation. Every day, we receive new works from participants from all over Ukraine and expand the expert judges who will select the most talented essays.

Dasha considers creativity to be one of the most important tools for overcoming the trauma of war.

"We all had our lives destroyed to a certain extent. Everyone will be looking for something to help pulling himself/herself out of the state of victimhood. This is where creativity in any form comes in handy. Now people are finding new breath through creativity. I really believe in it," Dasha says.

School students of 9 to 11 grade, first- and second-year students of colleges and vocational education institutions, teachers of secondary schools, colleges and vocational education institutions from all regions of Ukraine are invited to participate in the competition.

You can submit your essay until 20 October 2024 through the official registration form only on the website of the Museum of Civilian Voices by Rinat Akhmetov Foundation.
