"On the eve of a full-scale invasion, the tension was very palpable, it was in the air. I received the first message from my son on February 24. He forced us to leave for a safe place. Then there was real chaos, but my son was always in touch," Liudmyla Krasovska recalls.
The woman stayed with her relatives in Kyiv, hiding in the basement. But when her daughter fell ill, she had to return to her apartment and believe in the strength of the Air Defense Forces.
Together with her son, Liudmyla's husband also defended Ukraine. Unfortunately, they both died. Currently, the woman is supported by her daughter and grandchildren, if it were not for their love and care, Liudmyla does not know what would have happened to her.
