Liliia was wounded when she and her family were leaving Mariupol on foot. An aerial bomb hit. The woman fell from the blast wave. And when she regained consciousness, she realized that blood was flowing from her stomach. She was taken to the "Chaika" hotel, where people found one injection that stopped the bleeding. Then, for 5 hours, her husband was looking for a car that could take the injured woman to the hospital.
At that time, Liliia had already said goodbye to life. But help was found. Serhii, a stranger, took the woman to Mangush by car. There she was admitted to the emergency room. And at one in the morning, after 12 hours of bleeding from a wound in the stomach, she ended up on the operating table. The operation in Donetsk lasted almost 5 hours. Doctors saved her life.
Liliia then spent a month and a half in intensive care. And only in July, after a week on the bus, she got to Ukraine and saw her husband and daughter again.
