During the full-scale invasion, Svitlana and her husband lived in the village of Pavlivka, Volnovakha district, Donetsk region. Both are teachers. On March 14, the village was occupied.
"We were under occupation for 3 months. We went through 9 rotations. On March 12, the electricity went out. And then every day our friends were dying. There was no communication. By mid-April, we hoped that everything would be over, but there were more and more occupiers. Every time a new rotation came, they did not settle where their houses were, because those houses were mined and tripwires were set up," said Svitlana, a resident of Pavlivka village.
