Tetiana Petrenko, an English teacher, met the occupation in her native village. She recalls how on the third day of the russian invasion, bread disappeared from store shelves. Some bread was baked by local farmers, but it was not enough. And when food finally started to appear on the shelves, everything had risen in price several times.

In early April 2022, the occupiers came to the teacher's house to search it, and it happened more than once. Tetiana did not want her daughter to study at a russian school, so they left for Dnipro.

After a while, she found out that the russians had taken her brother. The family did not know if he was alive for two weeks. The enemies tortured her brother with electricity. The man was lucky to escape from the torture chamber and get out of the occupation.
