When the war began, we left Stanytsia Luhanska to save our seven children. They roamed the country for three years, and returned home in October 2017. Looters took all our furniture and appliances. Windows, walls, and roof were damaged by shrapnel. We didn't find many belongings. But the main thing for us is that we are all around, safe and sound.
We decided to take foster children after our own son had died tragically. A week before he was drafted into the Presidential Regiment, he was hit by a car.
We could not bare it the first year. And then my husband and I decided to take this step – to take children from an orphanage
Now we are trying to renovate our home. We have no money, we are in the red. We do not receive social payments for children - the documents have been lost. It is pointless to look for work in the village, all the enterprises where local residents worked remained in Luhansk. But we seek happiness in our children.
