Zlata tells about the difficult days in Brovary when the shops ran out of food. About a windowless basement with military vehicles moving down the street. About the view from the 22nd floor of the fire and explosions around. About the enemy who entered the forest nearby. About her younger brother, who began to stutter from stress.

But all this has passed, and the opportunity to go outside safely has become a breath of sweet air.

Now Zlata is an active member of the Ukrainian Union of Young Geographers, an NGO that studies the impact of war on locations in the de-occupied territories.
