14 people died and dozens were injured – such were the consequences of the shelling of people who were standing in queue for bread in Chernihiv on March 16, 2022. Trauma surgeon Oleksandr Kriuk recalls that on that day, he and all his colleagues had 3-4 people in line for surgery. They were saving lives not only in operating rooms, but wherever they could. The hospital received up to fifty wounded that day. It was one of the hardest days of his longest shift.
