“On March 8, our village was occupied. Explosions started, tanks were driving down the streets. We went down to the basement,” Anastasiia Rudenko recalls the occupation of Kyiv region. The enemy military intimidated local residents, even threatened them with rape. They robbed houses and committed atrocities. When they were fleeing Bohdanivka, they blew up the village council, a kindergarten and a school.
