March 8, 2022, was a sad holiday for Olena – it was on this day that the occupiers entered their village. At first, they shot at the houses, including Olena's house, then they also settled in it. A family with two young children had to live with their parents without electricity, water, and communication. Escape from the occupation was possible in a month, but the horrors continued at endless checkpoints almost to Zaporizhzhia.
