Most women associate the 8th of March with flowers and gifts. Hanna remembers a snowstorm, shelling and a car that ran out of fuel during the evacuation from Kreminna. Her family was rescued by soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces who literally carried the vehicle to the nearest petrol station. Now Hanna is a teacher at the Kreminskyi Centre for Children and Youth Creativity in Dnipro.
