Momine left her native Crimea in 2014. She settled in Polissia. And again she lost her home. This time it was due to a Russian air attack. By this time, she had already left Zaruddia. One of the volunteers took her and her children out of the war zone. Surviving there was becoming increasingly difficult, and her younger son was running out of asthma medication.
Thanks to the ingenuity and determination, Momine's agricultural company managed not only to get all of its employees out of harm's way but also to save its machinery. In May, they were able to grow food again where shells had recently exploded and caterpillars had been rattling.
