Olha Deryhlazova is a talented craftswoman from Donbas who turns ordinary things into unique pieces of art. Olha was forced to leave her native village of Bahatyr in the Donetsk region due to Russian shelling. She left there all her belongings, archive family photos and her works. That part of the exhibits was saved by Olha’s son! He is a military man, fought his way to his native village. And he was able to return some of the works to his mother.

In 2024, Olha joined the YaMariupol IDP support center, attended one of the master classes. She became an active participant of the volunteer center. And a year later she held her first personal exhibition, during which this interview was recorded.
