In the winter of 2015, I almost lost my son Kyrylo. He was on his way home that day. The gate was only a few meters away, but he didn't have time to enter it. He heard the first explosion. He ran away but was caught up by the blast wave. Then he ran all the way home.
Then four residents were killed in the village, and several dozen were injured. Kyrylo was also injured, and we didn't immediately understand that the child was injured.
There was no blood. We went to the hospital, and a doctor examined Kyrylo there. She heard сrackles. It turned out that a fragment damaged the spleen, stomach and got stuck in the lung.
He had two surgeries, but doctors decided not to remove the fragment from the lung. To get it, you would have to open both the chest and the abdominal cavity.
Now Kyrylo can not make sudden movements – the fragment can shift and affect the nerves. Kyrylo's father was left alone. There was no one to help him in the household. He needs help in the houlsehold, because has a second disability group.
We spend all our money on medicines, and Kyrylo now has to undergo rehabilitation every year.
