Kateryna gave birth to her daughter after the full-scale invasion had already begun. Before this joyful event, which she and her husband had been waiting for for 10 years, she went to work as a volunteer at the Baby House, where she and her colleagues spent sleepless nights hiding 36 babies in a bomb shelter. Kateryna suffered the most pain during the war during the missile attack on the Okhmatdyt, because for her, children are the most valuable gift of life.
