Everything used to be fine until the war began. There used to be shops here, but there were no buses. Well, sometimes they still run. Everything was fine. And now there are no buses or shops at all. It’s hard, very hard...
Now, the bombing is certainly not as intense as it was in 2014-2015. But it still happens from time to time, in the morning and in the evening. It was much worse then. We did not go out of the cellar for a month. We slept twenty nights right in there. Now we don’t run down to the cellar, but it is still scary. We hear these explosions all the time. We live in a dangerous area. You go to bed and do not know whether you will get up in the morning or not. Everything is scary.
We have difficulties because of the war. There is almost no water. We really have problems with this. There are almost no shops.
Even to buy a piece of bread. If you have not bought it here, you need to go to the town.
We tend not to go out and not to go anywhere without real need, because it can start at any time... We’re just afraid. There is enough work in the yard and in the vegetable garden.
But once shooting begins – that’s it, my heart can no longer stand it and starts... My arms and my legs shake. I don’t think you can get used to it, no.
I wish it could be over soon. The sooner the better. Everyone is tired of it, especially the elderly, old men and women.
Our dream is to see that this war ends sooner. We hope that everything will be fine.
