My four-year-old granddaughter, Diana, lost her mother, father, older sister, and grandmother in one day.
Last autumn, they were returning home to Khartsyzsk after being evacuated. The car came under fire on the way. They all died at once. Diana is the only one of her family left alive.
Mother was dying right in front of the child's eyes, and she kept calming, "Hush, hush, mummy, everything will be fine."
Me - grandmother - and my uncle are the only family she has now. Shrapnel shattered Diana's right shoulder.
We asked for help, and Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center came to the rescue. Fortunately, traumatologists managed to save the arm. Then my granddaughter undertook psychological treatment for a long time.
Diana is gradually overcoming the test of war. Now her drawings have more bright colours.
