Anhelina was in Bucha with her family - her little daughter, husband and father - during the full-scale invasion.
“A russian column moved to Bucha. They are rushing to Irpin and Kyiv. On February 27, the column came to us. The ground was seething and rumbling. Up to 100 pieces of equipment. They stopped near us. The battle started. Vokzalna Street is full of private houses. It was mixed with the ground. The Ukrainian military destroyed this column. All this was above our house. It was cracked.
The battle lasted for 5 hours. The air was full of smoke, the smell of corpses. In the garden we found half a corpse of a Kadyrov’ man. Half of his head was missing. The body was covered with a bathtub,” said Anhelina, a resident of Bucha.
