It is difficult to find intact buildings in our village. And we cook dinner right in the yard, on makeshift stoves that we build at the entrance to the basement. We live there hiding for months.
There is a few hundred meters from us to the Donetsk airport.
Our house was pretty ruined, but it miraculously survived. Recently, our apartment which is the only residential apartment in the house got under fire. An explosive bullet flew through the window and then into the bathroom.
I graduated from high school, but I couldn't continue my education because of the war. I live with my father and my sick grandmother. She was concussed a year ago when a shell exploded a meter away from her. Now she can't hear.
We have a layer of soot in the kitchen from the stove. There has been no gas or light for several years. There is no water, it is good that the well is nearby. But the water is salty, although we are already used to it. Before the war, there were 700 people living in the village, now there are about 50 people.
