I work at Avdiivka Coke Plant. Most of the employees who lost their homes due to the shelling have to work and sleep in bomb shelters. They also bring their families here to save them from shelling.
We work and spend nights here. When shooting stops, we can go out and check if the house is Ok. I don't go out much. I already know what my house looks like today. The staircases were broken.
My son and I live on the fifth floor, and when fire started, we jumped out to the landing. There was smoke and dust all around, but we couldn't see where we were going, so we both fell from the fourth floor to the second. I still don't understand how we managed to survive and pull through.
