When the war started, I was nine years old. The first time they started shooting, my friends and I were walking on the street. I was playing on a swing when the war broke out.
They started shooting. Everyone rushed home, parents took everyone, except for me. I stayed there, swinging at a great height. After a couple of seconds, some unfamiliar old lady passed by and stopped me. So I ran home. I am very grateful to her. I will never forget this.
