Victoriia Bordun is from the village of Prymorske, Novoazovsk district, Donetsk region, so the war for her family began in 2014. She lived for two years under occupation, but after the Russian military began to commit violence, the family was forced to move to Mariupol. On February 24, 2022, the occupiers attacked Victoriia's home again. At that time, she was already married to a soldier who was defending the city. Her husband went through active hostilities at Azovstal, captivity and a terrorist attack in Olenivka. After the exchange, he returned but could not walk. Viktoriia supported him all this time. Now her husband is defending Ukraine again, and Viktoriia has moved abroad in search of a new home.
