I lost my parents in the shelling of the city. Now I'm learning to live without them. On May 13, 2017, a direct shell hit a private house and killed four people, including my father and mother.
A minute before the tragedy, I was on the phone with my mother. I will never forget her last words: "Please try to learn, we hope for you. You are the only one." I live for it now.
I was taken in by my own aunt. I can't stay in my parents’ apartment. Everything reminds me of them, it's very hard.
My father Oleg Borysenko was an employee of the Avdiivka coke plant. At the scene of the explosion, he was identified by a work pass. I can't get my parents back. But thanks to the help of close and caring people, it is a little easier to survive the loss.
