Oleh from Odesa met the full-scale invasion with deep indignation and anxiety. Every explosion, every attack on civilians touched him not only because of fear for his own safety, but also because of anger at the suffering of innocent people. He was especially struck by the way russian missiles hit the city's historic buildings, symbols of Odesa and its cultural heritage. This is not just the destruction of stones and walls - this is an attempt to destroy identity and memory. At the same time, Oleh felt an incredible sense of pride for Ukrainians because of their unity.
