Nadiia was a principal in Verkhniokamianske, teaching Ukrainian language and literature. The village had been on the contact line since the beginning of the war. Nadiia left the village on April 7, 2022. Now the school is destroyed, Nadiia's house is destroyed, as well as many others. The village starosta and Nadiia's cousin, who was a priest, were killed while saving people. Nadiia continues to teach and works as a volunteer at the same time.
