My grandson Sergey Zurnadzhan and his brother came under fire in our village. Seryozha was wounded in the basement of the house when fierce fighting took place near Debaltseve. His head and shoulder were wounded by fragments. It was a miracle that he survived. Our house is located in the "grey area" between Debaltseve and Luhansk. Our house was hit two times – two walls collapsed.
Not a day goes by that we don't hear shooting. I don't leave Seryozha alone even for a minute. We only recently decided to return together to the place of the tragedy — our house. Sergei had had the worst experience there. He also left things that were dear to him – chess, a construction kit, and a computer.
It is difficult for him to study, because he has not yet fully recovered from the injury. Teachers are not very demanding — they understand everything.
The children live with me, because parents abandoned them. We live in my apartment in Svitlodarsk. The shelling does not stop even not, but we have nowhere else to go.
