On the first day of the full-scale invasion of the russians, Liudmyla Ivanivna received an alarm call from her son, who urged her to leave, because enemy troops were already close to their home. The son himself tried to evacuate several times, but could not pass the russian checkpoints. Only after the missile attack in July 2022, they were able to leave through Vasylivka, where they were lucky to avoid thorough checks. Liudmyla Ivanivna recalls life in occupied Skadovsk, where she saw armed men, kidnapping of locals, including the mayor, and dispersal of strikes.
