Olha Kondratiuk, an entrepreneur from the village of Yahniatyn in the Ruzhyn community, has been making dairy products for many years: cheese, sour cream and baked puddings. The production of cheese and sour cream is a family business that has been passed down in her family for three generations. Moreover, the products manufactured by the craft farm have found their way from the market stall to a Ukrainian food supermarket chain.
The war caught Olha just as she was preparing for the delivery. On February 22, 2022, she was packing 800 kilograms of products. When she realized that the truck would not come, Olha started distributing dairy to displaced people and the military who required help.
Over time, the farmer resumed her business and began supplying products to supermarkets again. She also started implementing new ideas, such as the production of meat snacks. The entrepreneur also dreams of developing the tourism potential of her region: the region has many unique craft producers that deserve attention. Thus, Ruzhyn district can become a tourist center where people can enjoy local products and culture.
