Zhanna worked as a volunteer at the Point of Invincibility in Orikhiv, where she took care of neighbours with limited mobility and animals abandoned by their owners. After the shelling on the ninth of July 2023, she was injured under the rubble. Zhanna had open fractures of her feet and bones, a closed head injury and a concussion. She underwent rehabilitation under the Wounded People programme of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation.
