When Kyiv was hearing explosions every day and the enemy was getting closer, Andriy went to help others. He went to Okhmadyt Children's Hospital and offered his services. He ended up staying there as a regular loader. And every day he came on foot to help the hospital. He recalls the soup he was treated to during his working day.

His volunteering stopped only when Andriy contracted the coronavirus.

Now he is a guide at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra National Reserve. He says that his greatest value is when the military and IDPs thank him for his tours.
