Nataliia Chyzhevska is the deputy mayor of Korosten. She took on the responsibility of providing informational support to the population. She created a group in which she informed about threats of shelling and air alerts. She informed people about the current situation around Korosten. She coordinated those who had left with those who had stayed. She was particularly struck by the story of the deceased truckers from Belarus. On March 6, they came under shelling of russian troops and were killed.
Nataliia assumed negotiating functions with the families of the deceased. And she delivered the bodies to the belarusian border with the funeral service. Later, she was surprised to watch a deceitful belarusian documentary about how the neighbor's special forces allegedly rescued their compatriots from Ukraine with helicopters. The awarding of two soldiers for this operation and lukashenko's threats to take revenge on Korosten.
