Everyone in our city walks, does something, fusses before lunch, and then everything freezes.
We live in the suburb of the town, next to a filtration plant. Until the shells fall here, the neighbor can go out and walk with her sons.
They walk along the street, from the house to the checkpoint and back. We don't have playgrounds, nor do we have any intact buildings. Our other neighbor was killed by shrapnel.
Shooting. What should I do? I'm one of the few people left on this street. I have pets, and we expect for peace together. But every day it becomes more difficult to believe that it will be here one day.
