I remember the days of spring and summer of 2014 almost by the minute. They are embedded in the memory as fragments of terrible news about the deaths of people, about destroyed homes. Life was divided into "before" and "during". Because the period "after" has not come yet.
It became difficult to live, we were not paid pensions. I started working part-time. And thanks to Rinat Akhmetov's humanitarian aid, everyone survived.
And when I was offered to help people, distribute humanitarian aid – and work as a volunteer, I agreed.
Now, even after only three years, I understand how important and necessary my help is for my fellow villagers. I have a goal-to help people. I feel like someone needs me. People thank us, the volunteers, and especially Rinat Akhmetov's Staff.
