My mother never imagined that she would be in such a state. She has a broken hip, has suffered a heart attack and a stroke. We started feeling worse when the fighting began. When there was an attack, she was terribly frightened and shouted to me to drag her to the cellar. Then the blast wave cracked the walls of our house. We had a panic attack.
My mother is a disabled person (group I). She is confined to life in bed. The left side of her body does not function. She has to take medication every day, but we don't have money for that. We couldn't renew our pension in the government-controlled territories, because we can't leave. We buy medicines on credit. There is barely any money left to buy food.
