Yuliya Tveritina – Academician of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, master of linear painting, graphic artist, and illustrator. Julia is from Kyiv. For many years she has been living and working in Suzhou (China). From the first days of the war the artist began to keep an art diary of the war.
The last numerous weeks pass like this: wake up, check the news, check whether there was a shelling, if there was, then where and what is damaged (almost always this means a lack of communication and electricity, sometimes water, heat), write messages, wait for an answer, wait for an answer for a day, wait for an answer for three days, five days, receive a short message in response, if are very lucky - get through, calm down a bit.
