Before the war, Olena Boiko bought a house in Velyka Dymerka, Kyiv region. On the first day of the full-scale invasion, she decided to hide there with her children, because she thought that everything would be fine in a small village. It was pure horror for Olena that Velyka Dymerka was occupied by the russians. Terrible battles were taking place all around, explosions were heard from everywhere. The woman was 6 months pregnant. It was real survival, because even getting bread somewhere was impossible. Olena and her children were taken out of the village by her brother under shelling.
