I've been using a wheelchair for more than twenty years. However, it is outdated, broken, and may even be crippled. Shelling is a special test for me, because I can't get down to find shelter quickly. Last summer, a shell came here and the windows on the second floor were blown out.
The wheels on the wheelchair hold up badly. I can't go down the stairs to the street. Saving for a new wheelchair from the disability payments would take a very long time. And I can't get a wheelchair under the state program – such programs are terminated in the uncontrolled territories.
